Find out about the history and value of real estate in communities of color.

Part A: One, we teach about the history of African Americans and other persons of color's home/land/investment ownership from the 19th C to 20th C.  Second, the influence and reduction of home ownership in the last 40 years due to desegregation, etc. Third, the psychological block that American Africans have developed in the last several decades.  Forth, current realities of urban-removal of the poor, American Africans and persons of color. Fifth, the need to clear of themselves from the propaganda of Bling..Bling, and poverty consciousness among American Africans.  Six, “the broken glass” theory to take property from people of color “on the cheap” for large profits later when whites move in.  Seven, to reclaim our powerful stance of upholding wealth in our communities by buying and investing in property. 

Part B:  One, Talk about the mortgage process. Importance good credit and living within our means.  Removing the mystery that keeps people away from applying for mortgages.  Two, learn about low to no down payment programs you have.  Third, get people to sign-up to get pre-qualified for a loan.  Fourth, offer other services related to the process. Fifth, you would then help the folks through the mortgage process from start to finish.

Part C:  Have a real estate agent/s to share their knowledge about home ownership. 

Part D: Get people to re-think and remove the blockages that prevents them from using their money for success or financial security or family legacy building.
