We uphold the saying, “If you know better, you will do better.”  Parents need community and individual support to parent at their highest level of functioning.
We use culturally relevant parenting instruction and skill-building program designed to include rituals, rapport, values and life circumstances. It is designed to assist concerned community members, teachers and parents in raising competent and achieving Black children. We believe that the more families support their children’s learning and educational progress, both in quantity and over time, the more their children tend to do well in school and continue their education. We embrace the reality that families of all cultural backgrounds, education, and income levels can, and often do, have a positive influence on their children’s total well-being.
